A Great Price For Standard Head Phones – Acoustic Research Wireless Headphones Review

Interestingly, when the models 110 and 120 go out of range you get static, but the 180 just cuts off (which is slightly better I think). The range is essentially exactly the same, maybe 70 feet for the models 110 and 120, and 72 feet for the model 180.

I live in an apartment building, so can't watch TV or listen to music very loudly without disturbing my neighbors. I've been waiting for some time to buy some quality wireless headphones that are lossless and affordable. After breaking them in for a couple of days, they fit my head like a large comfortable head glove. I've worn them already for hours on end with very little ear fatigue. I am very pleased in all respects. The sound quality is excellent -- on par with expensive, cable-connected phones. The cheaper one was half the price, but it was junk. Don't buy a unit that uses infrared, which is directional, for the signal.

Now that I am able to hear so well again, makes the Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones well worth their cost. I have/had both multiple wired/wireless headphones, so I've put together a mental list over time, of what worked, and what hasn't. The sound is excellent in my book. The highs are crisp, the mid-range/speech areas are clear and the bass sounds are very solid but not booming. I bought & returned 2 other different brands but none compared to these. Prior to making this purchase, I ordered the RS190s thinking that spending more $ meant a better product. Even better, when listening through these, I don't lose the voices in the music (as happens through my television speakers). But, then again, I live in Florida. The sound quality is nice, they handle bass without breaking a sweat, and lighter notes as well. There's silence where silence is to be expected; if there's hissing present in what you're listening to, you'll hear that as well.

They work fine out on my front porch, though. I've used them in all the rooms in my apartment without any issues, including my kitchen which has metal cabinets.

The ONLY thing they need is a remote, as the control buttons are too close together making adjustments difficult while on your head. They are very comfortable and can be worn for extended lengths of time. It links up between headset and transmitter base in an instant. No tuning required as with the analog types. I have only two issues with this headset. The range of operation is not what I thought it should be.

They costed many times as much, though. The almost eleven foot cord/cable makes it comfortable to put on the sofa, listen and enjoy her songs. infrared wireless headphones. Purchased for myself, and I really like them. The bass is extremely light, you can barely feel it if you aren't listening to rock songs. CORDLESS STEREO HEADPHONES.

Mdr-Xd200 Studio Monitors – Noise Cancelling Headphones Review Review

The headphones are light & I hardly noticed that they were, in fact, on my head. I like that the charging station gives them a "home" to go to.

Thanks to Kleer's uncompressed audio transmission technology another journey began via listening to some of my favorite Blue-rays like Oliver Stones "The Doors". The bass sounds are outstanding and precise. I've had the privilege of hearing some the best headphones on the market both wired and wireless and I can honestly say when it comes to sound quality. Noteworthy Features- These headphones provide great sound quality (to be expected from Sennheiser), and very easy to set-up.

With this easy modification, I give this headset a solid 5 STARS. Too bad Sennheiser didn't do this at the factory, but it is very easy to do at home. The sound of this headset is outstanding.

The phones are adjustable, hold their adjustment, and apply the perfect amount of pressure to create a soft "seal" without cutting off your circulation. It's an excellent, well-designed, quality product. If you're going out jogging for miles, don't take anything for granted. Take in mind the open design though; if you're in the same room as someone who's planning on sleeping, you can't turn these up too high. I can live with that when watching TV, and it certainly is "same difference" when consuming audio-only sources. Brief dropouts can occur when my microwave oven is on and I happen to pass within 2' of it. If they're in a completely different room with a closed door, you might be able to. I haven't heard any complaints about that, but lifting them off my head, I can tell they're definitely broadcasting the music outwards quite a bit. It is easy to use these cans for long periods of time as the ear pieces are comfortable & compliant. I had forgotten just how good (& well produced) these guys were. Voices were diffused and the effects were too front and center. Also, I had to play with my receiver volume & the headphone volumes several times through my listening today. However, in order to move that much more sound data through the air, more time is needed to get from point A to point B, which means latency. It has extremely noticeable latency.

Setup was quick and easy. The base station charges the headphones when you place them on top, which I do at the end of the day. If I did this, I could not hear the TV. The Sennheiser RD180 has solved all our problems.

In a word, the Sennheiser RS 180 remote headphones are just about perfect. I did not give them 5 stars across the board, because I feel that they are about 2 tenths away from that.

The cord is twelve feet long, no joke I measured it, twelve feet long!!! It seems as if you bend them, they'll just snap in two. sennheiser rs120 wireless headphones. These infrared wireless headphones are effective for songs and movies. Huge disappointment for somebody who purchased them to shut everybody around me up. Infrared Wireless Headphones.

Great Sounding – Wireless Headphones For Computer Review

They are extremely comfortable. The fit is snug on an average size head, and with the over-the-ear style of these, they have no pressure at all on your ears. This would be OK if the instructions were clear about this. But I didn't find them so.

The kids are blessed with excellent hearing, while mine has been sub-standard most of my life. My wife and kids were constantly telling me to turn the volume down. They are open air design like the 180's and have very excellent sound quality. That is what made me decided to go with Sennheiser when I was looking for wireless headphones. Once opened, it's clear that the makers thought of everything; from the various country-specific power adapters, to the cord organizer. You will not be left wanting with these headphones. I can walk into other rooms on the same floor without drop-off, though if I go upstairs from the base station, I do encounter some occasional zones where reception drops off. I can't say as how good the reception would be if I went outside to deck or yard -- an occurrence unlikely at the moment, since it's sub-zero outside where I live. This was, no doubt, influenced by the headphone amp of my 5200ES. You would think a $1500.00 dollar receiver could do better, but alas that is a nit that I shall pick another day. The ultimate test was the television with 5.1 surround sound. When these headphones were plugged into the home theatre system, for the first time he was happy.

I purchased these wireless headphones for quiet listening late at night so I would not disturb other people. I have used the wired Sennheiser HD 414 headphones for the last 20+ years and have had zero problems with them. Ah, I get it, customer meaning I have to customize the product. I bought these for work (at home.) I wanted something wireless, of decent quality with good range.

After it dried in about an hour, it left those buttons with a raised "bump" that my fingers can easily find. The on/off/standby button is between the volume buttons, so it is now easy to find with my fingers also. The headphones are light & I hardly noticed that they were, in fact, on my head. I like that the charging station gives them a "home" to go to. The headphones when used, seem to often (can happen many times a day) disrupt the wireless internet connection, and possibly the mouse and the keyboard, but I'm not sure about those. I'll try more settings soon.

They're also fairly easy to open (the fit of the plastic container containing the actual headphones and base was a bit snug, so there was a bit of tugging there). Setting the headphones up is very easy.

Perhaps I have lava ears though. The plastic that they're made from, feels inexpensive and hollow. INFRARED WIRELESS HEADPHONES. They work fantastic! I purchased these to listen to music on my small Ipod and play games. RF Wireless Headphones.

Headphones or earphones are rapidly becoming essential add-ons for the numerous electronic gadgets that have flooded the market from phones to media players and from personal computers to palmtops. Those who are regular users of headphones are often inclined to use it for pretty long hours. It is possible for temporary or permanent hearing impairment to occur to those who use headphones at high volume. There is a tendency to increase the volume of the headphone to drown out the outside noise such as traffic, large noisy crowds, subway, or aircraft. At higher volume, the normal pain that is associated with high volume disappears. The ear could be damaged with long hours of high volume sound through the headphones. An estimated 5 percent of headphone users are expected to face such problems. The suggestion to provide some form of warning to users to limit the volume of headphone has not been received well by the listeners. No such safety precautions have been made mandatory for the products sold in the market.

The risk of hearing impairment is lesser with in-ear headphones as well as canal phones. The seal of the on-ear headphone has the properties of noise isolation. This blocks external noise from entering the ear. So there is no need to increase the volume of the headphone to suppress external noise. Some countries have placed restrictions on use of headphones while driving vehicles which may include earphones in one ear also. With earphones on, the drivers may either not hear, for instance, a car horn, or may lose the sense of the surrounding which could be dangerous causing accidents. Similar there are other activities too that one should better keep the earphones off or at a low volume.

There are many companies manufacturing a variety of headphones for professionals, DJs, and Call Centers headsets in a variety of models.
